Story on controlling temper

There was the little boy who had an uncontrollable temper. His daddy gave him a bag of nails and said to him that each time he gets angry, he have to hammer a nail into the back of the fence.

The initial day, the boy had pushed 25 nails into the fence. After a couple of weeks, as he discovered to handle his anger, some nails hammered every day steadily came down. He found it was much easier to hold his anger than to put these nails into the fence.
Ultimately the day came when the boy did not shed his temper at all. He told his daddy about it, and also, the father recommended that the boy now pulls out one nail for every single day that he was in a position to hold his temper. The days passed and also the boy was ultimately in a position to inform his father that all of the nails had been gone.

The father took his child by the hand and led him to the fence. He mentioned, “You have carried out properly, my son, but observe the holes inside the fence. The fence will in no way be identical as it was before. Once you say something in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You may place a knife in a man and draw it out. It will not matter how several instances you say I am sorry. The wound continues to be there always.”
